Found last Sunday, Feb 12th, no collar or microchip, very talkative, black & white “tuxedo ” cat found near Duncan & Bradley (Parkland College area). Got my attention as he was meowing loudly from 2 yards over. I've notified Animal Control & posted on Craigs List. Seems to really be missing his human. Reply with identifying marks/characteristics 359-5903 or 637-1635

Dear Neighbors,

For months we have been feeding a stray, highly skittish, very talkative, largish young black cat (ca. one year old) whom we've named Doppel and very much want to adopt permanently. He (we think he is male) has been missing now for a week (disappeared Friday, Jan 13, when the weather turned very cold) and we are very worried. Please, if you have seen him in the vicinity of Parkland College (Duncan Rd. area) or the Timberline Valley subdivision, let us know. He has a small white patch at the base of his throat. No collar. Thank you so much!

TVHA: Tree trimming

The TVHA board has received concerns from several residents that it has become difficult to walk along the Bradley Ave. and Duncan Rd. sidewalks due to the pine tree line becoming overgrown. Since these trees are on homeowners property, and not on city parkway or association property, it is not possible for the association to maintain these trees. We ask that homeowners with property that backs up to Bradley Ave. or and Duncan Rd. please trim the sidewalk overhang. Thanks for your cooperation.

Timberline Subdivision Sign--PLEASE POST A NEW ONE!

I would like to ask why we STILL don't have a sign identifying our subdivision somewhere on Bradley and Duncan. I have been here for fifteen years and we originally had one. I know a teen crashed into the sign years ago and I also know that the sign was orginally placed on private property. My questions are why can't we find a new location? Or are the homeowners in that area so against a new sign? I don't live by one of our lakes and I don't participate in the garage sales. I am just slightly confused on what my association dues cover. I would like a new sign!

M-T-D to launch new route to serve Timberline subdivision

Effective next Saturday, August 20, the Champaign-Urbana Mass Transit District will begin service on the 190 PLUM bus line, which will provide Saturday only daytime service to the south part of the subdivision. For more information on this service, contact the M-T-D at (217) 384-8188.
